SHROVE TUESDAY: The St. Peterin-Chains CWL will serve a pancake supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Bishop Doyle Hall. Adults $7, children 6-12 $5 and children under 6 can eat for free. A family ticket price (up to six people) is $20. Trent University and Fleming College students can also eat for free. Choose from Chocolate, Blueberry or Plain Gourmet Pancakes, with Sausages, Fruit and Beverage. Pancake flipping contest between kids and clergy. Proceeds support the needs of local community. MUSEUM: Northern Owls exhibit, on loan from the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, on display until April 8. Features 11 mounted owl specimens in small settings. The Ontario Falconry Centre will have live birds of prey demonstrat­ion March 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. At 300 Hunter St. E., Museum Drive, on top of Armour Hill. ART: The Kawartha Artists’ Gallery and Studio presents The Beauty of Stillness – Still Life and Interiors, an art show and sale featuring works from KAGS’ members.
