New events venue opens downtown
The buzz is building for a new bar lounge and events venue in Downtown Peterborough. The Twisted Wheel is the brainchild of Country105 morning man Mike Judson and Jonathan Hall, the former owner of Spanky’s, Splice, and the Trasheteria. Located at 379 Water Street between Simcoe and Hunter Street, the Twisted Wheel is being described as a venue for live music, a bar, a lounge, an event space. Expect to see anything from live vinyl DJ’s to art shows, fundraisers, standup comedy, live music and more. The Twisted Wheel is expected to open sometime this month...
Rebate program
GreenON is the new green energy rebate program from the Provincial Government. Contractors need to know that in order to offer this rebate to your customers you must be registered with the program. Whether you offer insulation and air sealing, high performance windows, air and ground source heat pumps and more you should visit greenon.ca/contractor-signup for the full details. Let’s not have out of town contractors doing this work, just because you didn’t register your company.
