Purse snatched from woman on walking path

City police are searching for a suspect after a purse snatcher robbed a woman on a walking path near Parkhill Road late Monday night. It happened at about 11:50 p.m. when a man came up behind the woman, assaulted her and then grabbed her purse and fled south on the path, crossing Parkhill Road, police said. The robber had a thick build, was taller than six feet and was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.
