Matt D’Agostini of Ricart Sports Promotions is spearheading an effort to sell T-shirts to raise money for the Peterborough Minor Lacrosse Association which needs some financial help to pay some bills after the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The limited time offer T-shirt boldly states “COVID-19 is the only thing that can stop the Peterborough Lakers from winning championships.”

“I am personally gutted for the innocent kids who were really looking forward to their respective lacrosse seasons, at all levels from house league right through to our Sr. A professionals, so I wanted to offer something fun and unique for them to increase their morale, while helping out the association with some of the costs that they’ll have to make up,” D’Agostini told The Examiner.

The T-shirts are being sold for $20, taxes included, with 15 per cent of the proceeds going to the PMLA.

They are being offered in three style options in men’s, women’s and child sizes.

They are being sold through an online store at stores.inksoft.com/ peterborough_minor_lacrosse_cov/ shop/home

Payment can be made online with Visa or Mastercard.

Purchasers can pick them up starting Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. from the Ricart store at 259 Lansdowne St. E. or they can be shipped by Canada Post to out-oftowners.
