Reflectors would help motorists see pedestrian­s at night

I am giving my views on the letter written by Tony Grice. I agree with him completely and have thought about writing on the subject for some time.

It is even more difficult in winter to see people with so much dark clothing. I have thought of the idea of reflector belts or strips as on constructi­on or emergency workers clothing. They could be easily slipped on over clothing like a harness.

Perhaps the city could introduce and promote them.

They would be useful also for cyclists who are sometimes difficult to see. Helen Walker, Peterborou­gh
