Turtle conservation centre could use some humidity help
The Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, located at Chemong Road, is looking for the donation of a small or medium humidifier for its front foyer.
The OTCC, a registered charity, is the only wildlife rehabilitation centre dedicated solely to providing medical ad rehabilitative care to Ontario Turtles.
Healed turtles are released back into their natural habitat. Last year, despite COVID restrictions, and a cool spring, the centre had over 1,000 admissions. During 2019 they saw a record 1,498 admissions.
If you can help with donating a humidifier or for further information, message the OTCC through their Facebook page or email them at info@ontarioturtle.ca.
Don’t have a humidifier to give?
The OTCC also has a large wish list of needed equipment items and supplies. And, of course, you can always make a cash donation.
