Council approves Nechako View expansion

City council gave final reading at Monday night’s meeting to an application to add eight more lots to the Nechako View subdivision.

It raises the total at the site to 59.

Council passed the bylaw through third reading earlier this month after three residents upset with the development spoke at a public hearing.

A further 35 lots are planned for next year, concurrent with construction of a leftturn lane on North Nechako Road.
