Pedestrian overpass needed

-

After experiencing the bottleneck in traffic going towards downtown on Massey Drive, I felt compelled to write to The Citizen.

When traveling here when approaching the underpass at around noon, I’m sure most local people have seen all the kids migrating to the mall from school.

This creates traffic jams for some time as there are hundreds of kids going to the mall.

I think it is about time the city considered constructing an overpass there for the safety of all those kids and in the interest of keeping the traffic moving.

When I saw this, the traffic was backed up right back to Westwood Drive.

I think something should be done before a life is lost at this uncontrolled crosswalk.

We need to catch up to a lot of cities that have this sort of pedestrian overpass. B. Rosin Prince George
