The Prince George Citizen

Bylaw not enforced

YOUR LETTERS

-

I have read the Prince George noise bylaw with interest.

It is abundantly apparent that there is no enforcement of this bylaw nor the vehicle speed limits within Prince George. The vehicles with little or no muffling of exhaust noise, the racing and high speeds attained in residential area are diminishing safety and the quality of life in the community. The noise is assaulting. The rampant speeding and flagrant drag racing add to the noise and put residents in danger.

When is safety and quality of life going to be returned? When is the city going to cause its own laws to be enforced and provide the peace and safety laws in place are supposed to protect? Don McMillan Prince George
