Dorsett scored a career-high 12 goals in 77 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2011-12 season. He has six goals in 10 games this season and is on pace for 49. Think about that. The gritty winger who many had pegged as an extra forward because of cervical fusion surgery last December in Los Angeles – which shut his season down and raised realistic concerns about a full recovery and effectiven­ess – is proving us all wrong.
