From Prince George provincial court, Oct. 23-27, 2017:

• Frank Ambrose Bennett (born 1973) was sentenced to 21 and six days respective­ly for two counts of breaching probation. Bennett was also assessed $200 in victim surcharges and spent one day in custody prior to sentencing.

• Jamie Wally Ralph Butler (born 1972) was fined $1,500 plus a $225 victim surcharge for driving without a licence under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Stephen James Sherman (born 1992) was sentenced to four months in jail and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for possession of stolen property and to 15 days in jail and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for two counts of breaching probation.

• Aidan Wesley MacDonald (born 1976) was sentenced to 58 days in jail and one year probation and assessed $400 in victim surcharges for possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

• Saya Louise Weselowski (born 1976) was assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching release conditions. Weselowski spent four days in custody prior to sentencing.

• Mary Lou Austin (born 1967) was sentenced to two years probation, issued a 10-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed $400 in victim surcharge for aggravated assault and breaching release conditions. Austin was in custody for 314 days prior to sentencing.

• Derek Glenn Domeij (born 1977) was sentenced to one year probation and fined $1,000 plus a $300 victim surcharge for theft $5,000 or under.

• Douglas Robert McKnight (born 1953) was issued a one-year $500 peace bond for causing fear of injury or damage.

• Elizabeth Irene Young (born 1984) was sentenced to one year probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for assaulting a peace officer.

• Trevor Ronald Taylor (born 1972) was sentenced to one day in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching release conditions, committed in Terrace.

• Fabian Gerald Michelle (born 1993) was sentenced to 30 days in jail and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for being unlawfully at large. Michelle was in custody for 224 days prior to sentencing.

• Trevor Ronald Taylor (born 1972) was sentenced to 14 days in jail, prohibited from driving for three years and fined $300 plus a $45 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act and to 13 days in jail and one year probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, both committed in Vernon.

• Dallas Lee Blanchette (born 1986) was sentenced to seven days in jail for taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and to one day in jail for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possessing a stolen credit card.

Blanchette was also sentenced to 18 months probation and assessed $300 in victim surcharges on the counts. Blanchette was in custody for 15 days prior to sentencing.

• Dennis Anthony Ransom was sentenced to one day in jail and one year probation and assessed $300 in victim surcharges for assault and breaching release conditions.

• Teddy James Lowley (born 1995) was sentenced to one year probation with a suspended sentence for assault and to one day in jail for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer and breaching release conditions and issued a one-year $500 peace bond for assault.

Lowley was also assessed $400 in victim surcharges and was in custody for 13 days prior to sentencing.

• Ivan Christophe­r Skin (born 1990) was sentenced to 12 days in jail for willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer, to two days in jail for two counts of breaching release conditions, to one day in jail and one year probation for possession of a controlled substance and four counts of breaching probation and assessed $800 in victim surcharges on the counts. Skin was in custody for 113 days prior to sentencing.

• Cali Ronald Harold Peal-Barton (born 1994) was sentenced to six months probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation. Peal-Barton was in custody for one day prior to sentencing.

• Jason Baxter Prince (born 1967) was assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching release conditions. Prince was in custody for 15 days prior to sentencing.

• Tyler Gordon Hanson (born 1993) was prohibited from driving for 90 days and fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Denise Nicole Mortimer (born 1993) was assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation, committed in Vanderhoof.

Mortimer was in custody for one day prior to sentencing.

• Nicholas Ronald Power (born 1985) was sentenced to six months probation with a suspended sentence and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for possession of a controlled substance.

• James Joseph Louis Desjarlais (born 1974) was sentenced to one year probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and carrying, using or threatenin­g to us a weapon.

Desjarlais was in custody for 104 days prior to sentencing.

• William Allen Henry (born 1965) was sentenced to 14 days in jail, prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Darcy John LaFontaine (born 1972) was issued a one-year $500 peace bond for causing fear of injury or damage.

• Jonathan Monk (born 1995) was sentenced to seven months in jail and one year probation, issued a lifetime firearms prohibitio­n and assessed $600 in victim surcharges for assault with a weapon, assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, to 45 days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation, all committed in Tachie and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation, committed in Vanderhoof. Monk was in custody for 29 days prior to sentencing.

• Lyle Robert Suter (born 1980) was sentenced to one year probation and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for possession of stolen property over $5,000 and prohibited from driving for one year and fined $100 for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.
