Nobody needs automatic weapons

-

Message for the Donald (Trump that is).

I will not respect you by calling you president until you do something to earn that respect. I could say a lot more about your behavior, but most important right now is not the time for that in light of the Florida shootings.

Your lack of concern is terrible. These kids are the future of your country and ours in Canada to a degree.

For you to think its OK for you to push this under the table and use it for political gain is an atrocity. Again, I could say a lot more about that as well.

Mr. Trump, I do not have the high IQ that you claim to have but it didn’t take me long to realize how these kids must feel being a target in school.

As closed minded as you are, let me suggest the next time you are in a motorcade or parade get out of you bulletproof car with bulletproof windows, take off your vest and remove your body guards and get on the back of a flat-deck truck.

I think if you did this you would make some necessary changes very quickly.

In the interest of the young people involved, perhaps you could use your high IQ to do both things – tackle mental illness the best you can and ban the sale of automatic weapons.

I have been a hunter and gun user my whole life for useful purposes and I have never seen the need for automatic weapons other than for war.

Use your IQ and you will resolve this issue. Bob Rosin Prince George
