From Prince George provincial court, March 5-9, 2018:

• Tyler Michael Elroy Alexis (born 1997) was sentenced to nine months probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for theft $5,000 or under.

• Cuyler Richard Aubichon (born 1995) was sentenced to 11 days in jail and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for two counts of breaching probation and to seven days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer. Aubichon was in custody for one day prior to sentencing.

• Clinton Joseph Meek (born 1979) was sentenced to 93 days in jail for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and to 63 days in jail and prohibited from driving for 18 months for dangerous driving, committed in Valemount and McBride. Meek was also sentenced to one year probation and assessed $500 in victim surcharges on the counts as well as breaching undertakin­g or recognizan­ce, committed in Vernon. Meek was in custody for 11 days prior to sentencing.

• Robert Richard Prettie (born 1975) was sentenced to seven days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation. Prettie was in custody for one day prior to sentencing.

• Kenneth Melvin Seymour (born 1991) was sentenced to 22 days in jail and assessed $300 in victim surcharges for breaching an undertakin­g, breaching probation and willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer. Seymour spent three days in custody prior to sentencing.

• Frank Edward Boostrom (born 1978) was sentenced to nine months probation with a conditiona­l discharge and assessed a $100 victim surcharge.

• Fabian Brian Joseph (born 1990) was sentenced to seven days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation, committed in Fort St. James. Joseph was in custody for five days prior to sentencing.

• Mark Pierre Tom (born 1986) was sentenced to one year probation, issued a four-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed $600 in victim surcharges for three counts of assault and one count each of assaulting a peace officer, will- fully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer and breaching probation, committed in Prince George and prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $100 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

• Murray Elvis Keewatinca­ppo (born 1994) was sentenced to 18 months probation, issued a three-year firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for assault and to time served and assessed $300 in victim surcharges for mischief to property and two counts of breaching an undertakin­g or recognizan­ce. Keewatinca­ppo was in custody for 24 days prior to sentencing.

• Gary Lee Felix (born 1978) was sentenced to four months probation and one year probation, issued a lifetime firearms prohibitio­n and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for break and enter and commit indictable offence.

• Jessie Lynn Giroux (born 1987) was sentenced to 16 days in jail and issued a 10year firearms prohibitio­n for assault causing bodily harm and to time served for theft $5,000 or under and breaching an undertakin­g. Giroux was also sentenced to one year probation and assessed $300 on the counts. Giroux was in custody for eight days prior to sentencing.

• Gilles Clement Joseph Goulet (born 1962) was fined $750 plus a $112.50 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention under the Motor Vehicle Act and fined $500 plus a $150 victim surcharge for willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer.

• Ulysses Sydney Nicholas (born 1997) was sentenced to nine days in jail and assessed $200 in victim surcharges for two counts of breaching probation and to time served and one year probation and assessed $300 in victim surcharges for possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, willfully resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer and breaching probation. Nicholas was in custody for 46 days prior to sentencing.

• Cali Ronald Peal-Barton (born 1994) was sentenced to 12 days in jail and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation. Peal-Barton was in custody for 12 days prior to sentencing.
