Award-winning author hosts book signings
Fresh from winning a Nautilus Book Award, regional self-help author and master musician Serge Mazerand will be in Prince George for two public appearances.
Mazerand comes from the Bulkley Valley where he lives near Smithers. His book 7 Keys To Serenity was recently the winner of a Silver Award in the Personal Growth (Self Published & Small Press) category of the annual Nautilus citations.
He will be signing the new edition of his book at Books & Company on Friday (11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and at Cole’s Pine Centre on Saturday (11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Mazerand will also have recordings of his music for sale and special giveaways for those who come by to visit, get their copies signed, and purchase deeper exploration of this musician’s views of our holistic well-being. Mazerand wrote how, gleaned from his years of musical insight, we can all tune our life’s instrument using seven simple, insightful steps.
“It’s a musical perspective that resonates with life,” he said. “You might say ‘I’m not a musician, I wouldn’t understand about that’ but I would say actually, you are a musician. Sound, vibrations, amplitudes, sound waves, it is all a part of life. Our cells orchestrate our lives. We are the music. We have very powerful instruments within us. You will understand this easily.”
The book maps out a path to understanding and improving life using these musical undertones.
It is a self-help and self-health hypothesis.
It focuses on getting in conscious touch with the subconscious forces in our lives.
