Skytrain ‘projectiles’ probed
Transit police are investigating after projectiles shattered a window of a packed Skytrain car in Burnaby.
Sgt. Troy Henyecz said Thursday that a train was pulling up to Metrotown mall Wednesday afternoon when projectiles apparently fired from outside, at ground level, smashed the glass.
Police could not rule out that a gun was involved, he said.
A passenger said a window was shattered with what appeared to be two bullets trapped inside the glass. No one inside the train was hurt.
Henyecz said patrols were completed after the incident, and police have no suspects.
