Threat to mayor

TORONTO — The man accused of threatening to kill Toronto Mayor Rob Ford was remanded in custody Thursday.

Scott Macintyre, who was in a relationship with Kathy Ford, the mayor’s sister, is charged with forcible entry, threatening death and heroin and cocaine possession.

His lawyer said Macintyre needed “medical attention immediately.”
