MELBOURNE — Four Canadians have earned direct entry into the main draw of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam event of the tennis season. Milos Raonic of Thornhill, Ont., was seeded 23rd when the drawwas announced earlier today. Stephanie Dubois of Montreal, Rebecca Marino of Vancouver and Aleksandra Wozniak of Blainville, Que., earned berths in the women’s draw. Vasek Pospisil of Vernon, Pierre-ludovic Duclos of Ste-foy, Que., and Peter Polansky of Toronto must win two more qualifying matches to advance to the main draw.
