Peak Communicators has hired Lisa Clement as an account manager. Clement has spent the last year travelling across Canada with the Rick Hansen Foundation, where she served as the media relations specialist for the 25th Anniversary Relay. While completing her degree in journalism at the University of Victoria, she wrote for The Martlet, the university’s student led newspaper.

Kristina Driedger has been hired as account coordinator at Peak Communicators. After spending time in the legal and nonprofit sectors, she has come to Peak Communicators to begin a career in public relations. Driedger was the recipient of the 2012 Peak Communicators PR Scholarship. She has a BA in political science from the University of B.C.

The College of Dental Surgeons of B.C. announces the appointment of Jerome Marburg to the position of registrar/CEO. CDSBC regulates more than 3,300 dentists and 6,300 certified dental assistants in the public interest. Marburg has held senior positions with regulatory bodies for self-governing professions since 1995. The dental profession has been regulated since 1886. Peak Communicators announces the hiring of Sophie Tupper as social web co-ordinator. Tupper has extensive social-media experience, developing the online presence of Strellson, an international high-end men’s suiting line. An alumnus of the public-relations program at Ryerson University, she has a BA in arts and contemporary studies from Ryerson.
