Hometown: Etobicoke, Ont. Recap: Hit .266 (4-for-15). Also walked five times. Scored three times. Raised OBP to .402, eighth in majors. As of Monday, was hitting .296, with 14 HRs and 36 RBIs through 67 games.

4. John Axford, RHP, Colorado Rockies (1)

Hometown: Port Dover, Ont. Recap: Gave up two earned runs on two hits in two-thirds of an inning in one of two outings. First earned run in 15 games. Went into Monday with 1-0 record, 12 saves, 1.31 ERA in 22 games.

5. Jamie Romak, Reno Aces (Diamondbac­ks Triple A) (10)

Hometown: London, Ont. Recap: Drove in 10, five in one game, in his .416 (10-for-24) week. Hit three HRs. Scored nine. Started Monday at .294 with 11 HRs and 47 RBIs in 65 games. Sixth in Pacific Coast League in RBIs.

6. Jeff Francis, LHP, Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays Triple A) (HM)

Hometown: North Delta. Recap: In two starts, gave up one earned run over 14 combined innings. One win, one no-decision. Allowed six hits, struck out 12, walked one. In nine games in Buffalo, 2-0 with 2.06 ERA.

7. Dalton Pompey, OF, New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays Double A) (7)

Hometown: Mississaug­a, Ont. Recap: Hit .318 (7-for-22) with four runs and three RBIs. In first 13 games since going to Double A, hit .339 with four HRs and 13 RBIs. Had 12 RBIs in 46 games combined in Triple A and majors earlier this season.

8. Adam Loewen, LHP, Lehigh Valley Fighting Iron-Pigs (Phillies Triple A) (NR)

Hometown: Surrey. Recap: Put together three scoreless outings after returning to Triple A from Double A. Five innings, allowed three hits. Struck out 12, walked two. As of Monday, was 1-2, with 2.82 ERA in 14 Triple A games.

9. Shane Dawson, LHP, Lansing Lugnuts, (Blue Jays Single A) (NR)

Hometown: Drayton Valley, Alta.

Recap: Gave up two earned on eight hits over six innings en route to his seventh win in 10 decisions. Struck out six, walked two. On year, is 9-4, with a 3.16 ERA in 14 games. Struck out 68, walked 19 in 74 innings.

10. George Kottaras, C, Charlotte Knights (White Sox Triple A) (NR)

Hometown: Markham, Ont. Recap: Played just two games last week, but was 5-for-8 with three HRs and 12 RBIs. As of Monday, had played in 18 games and had four HRs and 16 RBIs to go with a .340 average.
