Adding lustre and to a honey blond hairstyle
Tracy Hahn, 38, has medium-textured, wavy hair which is naturally brown in colour. It was previously highlighted to a warm honey blond tone and to transform her colour to a crisper, brighter blond, I wove in foil highlights throughout her hair. I used a silk-infused decolourizer to lighten her hair, then applied a demi-permanent, ammonia-free overlay in a cool beige tone to refine and add lustre to her hair.
I shampooed her hair with KMS California Color Vitality Blonde shampoo and conditioner for illumination and restored radiance. I sectioned her hair and began cutting it in the back at a 45-degree angle to create a soft bevel. I cut her hair with a slight diagonal forward shape in order to maintain length in the front, then chipped into her side-sweeping fringe to frame her face.
Before styling, I applied three pumps of KMS California Free Shape-Hot Flex Cream for heat-activated smoothing and shaping. I then sprayed KMS California Add Volume: Volumizing Spray for buildable volume and fullness, then blow dried her hair with a denman brush. I finished her look with a light spray of KMS California Free Shape: 2-in-1 Styling and Finishing Spray for heat-activated dry shaping and hold.
