Before Neglected locks highlight clashing mix of silver roots and faded shade of gold
Tracie Bennett, 58, is a medical lab technologist. She lives in Squamish and rarely goes to the salon and was ready for a big change.
Tracie normally colours her own hair with drugstore product and had neglected it for several months. She had three inches of her natural silver colour at the outgrowth area and faded shade of blond from her mid-lengths and ends. To soften her complexion and freshen up her colour, I applied foil highlights and lowlights throughout her hair to create a gorgeous beige shade, which is the better colour option than golden-blond.
I shampooed her hair with KMS California Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner for illumination and restored radiance in blonds. I applied, KMS California Most Repair — Revival Creme as a leave-in conditioner for moisture and manageability. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and began cutting it into a diagonal back shape to eliminate a significant amount of length and to create face framing layers. This shape enhances her facial features much better than a one-length shape.
Before styling, I applied KMS California Add Volume — Styling Foam for long lasting body and style support, then blow dried her with a round brush.
