Child porn sting results in arrest

RCMP say a 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged with child pornography offences after allegedly meeting a woman with the intention of sexually exploiting her daughter.

Ronald Gardner was charged with making child pornography and arranging or agreeing to commit a sexual offence against a child after an online investigation involving a female officer who posed as a single mother with two children.

The B.C. Integrated Child Exploitation Unit says Gardner, of no fixed address, was also charged with failing to comply with an order involving previous child pornography-related charges.
