World traveller’s fine, silver hair needed an update before next trip

Carol Devisser is a world traveller and was ready for an update before her next trip to Australia.

Carol has fine and naturally silver hair. It was previously highlighted and faded in the sun, which was washing her complexion out. Her colour was lacking dimension and needed depth to create contrast. I applied foils of blond highlights and lowlights in a wheat-blond colour, to blend in with her natural colour.

I shampooed her hair with KMS California Color Vitality Blonde — Shampoo and Conditioner for illumination and restoration for blonds. To create more fullness and volume to Carol’s hair, I created a short and layered cut, while maintaining length around the ears to soften her hair line. I incorporated a texture fringe and eliminated length through the back to expose her neck.

Before styling, I sprayed KMS California Add Volume — Root and Body Lift to her hair for targeted lift and volume, then blow dried her hair with a vent brush in a rough way to created added texture. To complete the style, I sprayed KMS California Hair Play — Playable Texture for buildable and workable texture.
