Canadian has one last shot

D.J. Kennington’s Daytona 500 dream will come down to one final run on Thursday.

Kennington was 0.445 seconds short in his first attempt to qualify for the sport’s most prestigious race in a Sunday time trial. The 39-year-old from St. Thomas, Ont., gets a final opportunity Thursday when he vies for one of two remaining spots via the Can-Am Duel.
