Using my finger, I dabbed on the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre and blended it onto my entire eye lid up to the brow bone.

STEP 2

Using the Stila Perfect Me Perfect Hue Eye and Cheek Palette, I applied a medium brown eyeshadow Spontaneous into the contour of my crease using a crease brush to blend it in. This creates depth and dimension to the eye shape.

STEP 3

To define and elongate my eyes, I used the Make Up For Ever Aqua XL waterproof eye pencil in M-14 to draw on a thick cat-eye liner.

STEP 4

I dipped my pencil brush into a charcoal-grey eyeshadow and buffed it along the lash line to soften blend out the liner, and to create a smoky effect.

STEP 5

To intensify the look I rimmed the waterline with Make Up For Ever Aqua XL waterproof eye pencil in M14.

STEP 6

Before applying false lashes, I measured them first against your eyes and trimmed off excess length from the outer corners. I used Revlon latex-free lash glue along the strip and left it to set for a few seconds until the glue felt tacky. I used tweezers to place the strip lashes as comfortably and closely to the natural lash line as possible. Once secure, I curled my lashes with the Sheseido eyelash curler, then coat them with black mascara.

STEP 7

Because the eyes are the focus, I suggest selecting a lip shade that is neutral in colour for a more demure look. I’m wearing Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Caramello.
