FRANCE MEN SWEEP CANADA IN WORLD LEAGUE ACTION ANTWERP, BELGIUM —
Stephen Boyer had 24 spikes to lead France to a decisive 3-0 victory over Canada on Saturday in World League volleyball competition.
France improved to 7-1 with the 25-16, 25-15, 25-21 win while Canada fell to 4-4 in its Group 1 debut.
Stephen Maar of Aurora, Ont., had 12 points in a losing effort. Canada will play Italy on Sunday.
