What it is: A collection of lipsticks that promise to hydrate, plump and provide a kiss of colour.
The formula is hydrated with pout-boosting ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, rosemary extract and vitamins such as vitamin A and vitamin E to nourish and moisturize lips.
The unique “creamy gel” product gives lips a sheer coating of colour, while “cooling ingredients” plump the lips. Each lipstick also features a “gelato flavour” that’s kissably sweet. Available in 18 shades.
What we say: This lipstick goes on sheer with just a hint of colour. On its own, the product delivers an attractive wash of colour that’s perfect for workday wear.
Our tester, who is a big fan of a super-pigmented pout, applied a matte lipstick on top of these soft shades to provide an extra punch and was pleased with the effect.
This lipstick is supposed to give lips an instant plumpedup look thanks to the aforementioned “cooling ingredients” — but our tester reported the effects were rather mild. Lips looked slightly more full, owing mostly, in our opinion, to the hydrating hyaluronic acid making lips feel smooth and soft.
Overall, this product provides a pretty dose of sheer colour and hydration that’s perfect for day-to-day wear — especially if you’re looking for an alternative to the ongoing mega-matte trend. Where to get it: Hudson’s Bay, London Drugs
