Drake avoids 2018 Grammys, didn’t submit album
Drake’s More Life album won’t earn him more Grammy Awards: A person close to the nomination process, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the multi-platinum Toronto rapper did not submit More Life for consideration at the 2018 Grammys. Neither Drake’s representatives nor the Recording Academy replied to emails seeking comment.

HOLLYWOOD Provide therapy, Slater advises
Actor Christian Slater says Hollywood should invest in psychotherapy for anyone dealing with fallout from the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal. Several actresses, including Rose McGowan, Asia Argento and Natassia Malthe, have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment or assault.
Slater told British newspaper The Telegraph he knew Weinstein was a “bully,” but said he found the allegations of sexual assault “horrifying” and urged Hollywood to do more to support its talent.
“I think it would be wise for movie studios to invest in psychotherapy,” he said. “To have an office on every studio lot, where, whoever you are, you can go and get some perspective.”
BOOKS Mockingbird returns to Biloxi schools
A Mississippi school district will resume teaching To Kill A Mockingbird after it was pulled from a junior high reading list. The Biloxi Sun Herald says school administrators removed the novel from the Grade 8 curriculum this month after complaints that some of its language “makes people uncomfortable.” School officials said they’ll begin teaching it again starting Monday. Students must ask to participate and return a permission slip signed by a parent.
