Gigi Hadid x Maybelline New York Collection
What it is: A limited-edition collection from Maybelline New York that has been curated by supermodel Gigi Hadid.
The “It” girl and brand spokesperson worked with the makeup brand to create a collection of products that could be used to create two different looks: East Coast Glam and West Coast Glow.
“I was empowered to create something that I couldn’t find before, while also making sure it was a full
set at an affordable price point,” Hadid said in a news release of the inspiration.
The collection features eyeshadow palettes, eyeliners, lipsticks, highlighter and more, and is all contained within chic, monochromatic packaging.
What we say: Our tester fell for the Insta-hype of this collaboration. Any chance to get the Gigi glow and we’re in. The line’s liquid liner was a standout for our tester, offering good pigment and minimal skipping along the lid.
The liquid highlighter was another must-try of the Hadid x Maybelline launch, serving to give skin a pretty faux glow that didn’t feel too heavy on the skin.
The lipsticks provide a bold pop of colour that’s matte but not too drying. Our favourite was Austyn, a pretty pinky-coral that gave dull winter skin an instant boost. Get it before it’s all gone. Where to get it: Mass retailers
