Having Hot Flashes?

-

Q: I suffer from terrible hot flashes. What can I do to help decrease my suffering?

Managing menopause doesn’t mean throwing out your sweaters and keeping your house at a frigid 12 degrees. When the female body transitions into menopause, the ovaries retire and stop producing sex hormones. At this time, the adrenal glands should ideally kick in and make the transition easier, as they too produce the same sex hormones. For many women, however, the adrenal glands are under-functioning due to stress burnout and, therefore, do not produce these hormones to the extent that they should. This can cause many common hormone related symptoms such as hot flashes, weight gain, insomnia, mood disturbances and joint pain. My goal is to support the adrenal glands to help prevent and treat hormonal issues. Come in and get your hormones checked, your adrenals boosted, and look forward to a cooler you!
