What it is: A collection of facial cleansers from Olay featuring “unique bio-renewing hydrators” such as sea kelp and crushed ginger to clean the skin without stripping it of essential moisture.
The collection of cleansers — which were released at the same time as a similar line of body wash options — also have exfoliators in the formulas to “micro polish” skin for a smoother, healthier appearance.
After use, skin appears more radiant, hydrate and naturally glowing.
What we say: Harsh cleansers can take a serious toll on skin, stripping it of its natural moisture barrier and leaving skin dry and uncomfortable.
Our tester, who admits to having a long history of over-drying her acne-prone skin, was interested to see how this gentle cleanser worked.
A little of the gel-lotion cleanser goes a long way, smoothing onto damp skin and clearing away dirt, makeup and impurities. Post-cleansing, the skin felt clean, but not dry and drawn — and it was a comfortable departure from the taut after-effect of some facial cleansers.
