What about our food?

-

Farmland and greenhouses across Canada are being converted from growing tomatoes, potatoes, beans and other nutritious fruit and vegetables to growing cannabis because it will be more profitable.

What will happen when the quantity of nutritious produce we have been growing locally diminishes, and then doubles and triples in price? What will happen when produce imported from the U.S., Mexico and other countries is no longer available due to drought, disease or political upheaval? Is pot a nutritious substitute?
