‘Mad Hatter’ knife plot foiled

-

The details of a “Mad Hatter” terror plot were revealed this week in a

British court, where a mother and two daughters were put away for planning bloodshed in the streets.

The sisters’ biological father blames everything on his ex-wife, the U.K. Sun reported.

Rizlaine Boular, 22, was like any other teen back in 2010, according to the report.

The U.K. Sun reports that all changed when the girls’ divorced mother, Mina Dich, reviewed online tutorials that converted her to an extremist version of Islam.

Rizlaine’s sister Safaa, now 18, would later tell a court her mother turned into a monster, assaulting the girls, banning them from dating and demanding they cover up.

Dich, 44, eventually married Rizlaine off to a much-older imam.

The story’s climax began after Safaa devised a plan to meet a man in Syria, with the intent of performing a suicide attack together.

The plot fell apart when the man was killed in an airstrike. Saffa was then accused of planning an attack on a British museum.

Landing behind bars didn’t stop Safaa from encouraging her mother and sister to kill civilians.

British investigators said the women referred to a mass knife plot as the “Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.”
