Chrissy Teigen gives genital steaming a whirl

New mom Chrissy Teigen has intrigued her Instagram followers by giving her genitals a steam as part of an at-home beauty treatment. The model and TV personality, who is married to singer John Legend, gave birth to their second child, son Miles last month, and she has been giving fans a candid look into her life postpartum via social media.

Earlier this week, Chrissy proved she was not afraid to give odd procedures a try, as she experienced vaginal steaming perched on the device with a towel over her legs, while multi-tasking with a warming pad on her neck, and a white moisturising sheet on her face.

“Face mask / heat pad / vagina steam,” she captioned the funny snap.

Preempting fans’ questions about the treatments, she continued, “No I don’t know if any of this works but it can’t hurt right?”, before jokingly adding, “vagina dissolves.”

Chrissy has yet to update followers about the success of the beauty routine, but Gwyneth Paltrow famously experimented with the treatment a few years ago for her Goop.com blog, and claimed it balances female hormone levels — although medical experts have not backed up the statement.

The post intrigued her fans and famous friends alike, with fellow new mom Khloe Kardashian commenting, “Living your best life,” while actress Brooklyn Decker remarked, “GIMME DETAILS NOW.”
