Cheating couple soaked in sewage

An Indonesian couple had dung something wrong.

So the poo police grabbed the twosome — accused of having sex outside marriage — and poured buckets of sewage over them.

The area where the incident occurred is ruled by strict Sharia law and canings are common.

The sick scene was filmed by a shocked onlooker in the country’s remote Aceh province.

The Daily Mirror reported that, in the video, a man identified only as TSF, is crouched next to an open sewer.

A vigilante then fills a bucket of waste and pours it over the hapless man’s head.

Next, they poured sewage over the alleged adulterer, a 30-year-old woman identified only as DK. Together, more buckets of sewage are dumped over the dirty duo.

Local media said DK had sex outside her marriage with TSF, her boss and a low-level local politician.

He had been spotted frequently leaving her house by an army of Mrs. Parkers.

“Maybe, after a long time of peeping on them, the locals got angry because they were deemed to have engaged in immoral acts,” a local Sharia official said. “The locals were angry because when the couple were interrogated, they could not keep their answers straight. It has become a norm in villages like that.”

The pair remained in the custody of religious police who were determining whether a marriage certificate provided by the man is legit.
