Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori Eau de Parfum
What it is: A new fragrance addition to Gucci’s Gucci Bloom scent collection, Nettare di Fiori Eau de Parfum promises to be a release that “celebrates the intimate and authentic character of a woman.”
The potent eau de parfum boasts top notes of ginger and rose; middle notes of Rangoon Creeper, tuberose and jasmine buds; and base notes of patchouli, musk and Osmanthus (a flowering plant also known as Devilwood).
This iteration is billed as a “woodier” edition of the original Gucci Bloom scent.
What we say: Our tester was, admittedly, already a big fan of the Gucci Bloom scent family.
And this latest release doesn’t disappoint.
The bouquet of floral notes is beautifully balanced; the scent proving to be neither too overwhelming nor non-existent.
While we noticed the rose and fresh ginger notes all but disappear rather quickly, the white florals keep this scent softly afloat, leaving behind a pleasant, slightly powdery note that’s perfectly pretty. Our tester noted the promise of “woodier” notes led her to expect a more moody, perhaps even slightly unisex scent, but the overall effect of Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori was much more floral — and feminine. A welcome surprise. Where to get it: Hudson’s
Bay. What it will cost you: $168 for 100 mL.
