Plebiscite a waste of money

The referendum on electoral reform is a farce. Changing the rules to only require 50 per cent plus one to approve the referendum reminds me of a child who is intent on getting his or her own way by wearing down the parents.

Also, taxpayers don’t seem concerned about the estimated $14.5-million cost. How much social housing could be provided with that money? Valerie Caskey, Langley
