GRONK TO SIT: Gronk is out again. New England will play without star tight end Rob Gronkowski today at Tennessee, according to numerous reports. He is battling ankle and back injuries. This will be the third game that Gronk has missed in the Patriots’ last four. He played in New England’s 25-6 Monday night victory at Buffalo on Oct. 29. In that game, he was targeted eight times, and caught three of Tom Brady’s passes for 43 yards.

BARKLEY TO START: The Buffalo Bills on Saturday ruled rookie quarterback

Josh Allen out and last week's emergency signee,

Matt Barkley, as starter for today's game at the New York Jets. Allen suffered an elbow injury on his right throwing arm a month ago but practised for the first time this week. Barkley backed up Nathan Peterman last Sunday in a 41-9 homefield loss to the Chicago Bears. Barkley has started six games and won one (all in Chicago in 2016) in an NFL career that began in 2012.

CROWDED OUT: The Washington Redskins on Saturday downgraded WR

Jamison Crowder to out for today’s game at Tampa Bay. He has an ankle injury and did not make the trip. This is in addition to four starting offensive linemen having been injured in the past two weeks. Last Sunday, guards Shawn Lauvao and

Brandon Scherff were lost for the season, and right tackle Morgan Moses is questionable against the Bucs with a knee injury.
