What it is: A made-in-Canada hair oil from the brand Voir Haircare.
This “radiant and uplifting” oil is chock full of strand-supporting ingredients including avocado, jojoba and rosehip oils to nourish hair, improve softness, add shine and control frizz.
The golden elixir is always a multi-purpose product, offering masking, smoothing and pre-shampooing powers.
“For everyday usage, dispense two to three pumps onto dry hair and work from roots to tips. Apply as needed to damp or wet hair to detangle. For deep conditioning, apply generously to damp hair and set with a hot towel for 20 minutes prior to shampooing,” according to the product’s packaging.
Formulated without silicones, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, TEA, artificial colours and mineral oil.
What we say: Our tester’s frizz-prone hair took an instant liking to this lightweight oil.
Two pumps of the product was all that was required in order to give her medium-length hair an instant improvement in softness, smoothness, shine and subtle control. Looking for an added dose of control on a particularly rainy day, she added in a pump of her favourite serum and was impressed with the added element of hold, but without adding extra weight when paired with the oil.
