Christine Germyn

In the best interest of my sister Christine Louise Germyn, deceased August 10, 2014 at 52. Christine’s health declined in 2013. Despite efforts from family and friends to facilitate treatment options she passed away at Vancouver General Hospital, from a long battle with Cancer. Her family and friends were not notified of her isolated hospitalization, passing, or funeral. Status: Single, without children never Legally Married never Common-law. Survived by her brothers: Raymond and Bradley. Sister: Shannon. Many kind and caring friends that went above and beyond to help her. She moved to Kitsilano in 1993 to start fresh. Employed in Travel Writing and Yoga. A body builder at the neighborhood Gym, where she met Ian, a very close friend that she deeply loved. Christine was a shy, secretive and talented woman that grew to be larger than life for many people, while helping others to become self aware, and accepted people openly. She did her best with a room mate Ross, under difficult circumstances and demanded him to vacate her apartment in my presence, but with struggle comes perseverance. Reflecting back to her life, and looking forward towards the positive people and places that shared her bright light Thank You! Christine and I agreed when we were reunited in 1984 dreams are ideas that come true. Christine made her mark in life. She has gone to a peaceful place, but she is not forgotten. - Germyn
