July 24, 1977 - June 21,2020

With deep sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Marc. Marc was the world’s greatest dad, a wonderful loving husband, a great older brother, a first-born son, and a steadfast, loyal friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie-Ann, his beloved daughter, Eden, his parents, Ted and Angela Longstaffe, his brother Nick and nephew Austin, his sister Laura (Jon) and his nephew Lincoln, his grandmother, Marietta Hurst, his mother-in-law, Donna Baron, his sister-in-laws, Coreena, Georgia, Montanna (Kevin) Robertson, his nephew Tyson and niece Kaylee, his brother-in-law, Brandon, the Robertson’s mother, Joanne Robertson, his stepdaughter, Paige Sittrop, his uncle, Dieter Feldmann (Anke) and cousin Cedric in Germany, cousin-in-law Linda Keagan and too many friends to name. Marc was predeceased by his brother Brian Edward Longstaffe, his grandmother Charlotte Feldmann and his grandfather John Hurst. A private service will be held next week at Ocean View Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the summer. Marc had a deep love for the welfare and safety of children. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to protectchildren.ca, a compassionate organization working to protect children from abuse. Marc touched many with his generous heart and his actions. The family looks forward to continuing his random acts of kindness.
