Jack Shannon and Keenan Bateman turned in strong pitching performanc­es to lead the Niagara Falls Falcons mosquito baseball team to a 7-3 win over Mississaug­a North in Central Ontario Baseball Associatio­n league play. Shannon struck out two in his four innings of work to pick up the win for the Falcons. Bateman shutdown the opponents, allowing no runs on no hits and no walks while striking out one in his three innings on the mound. Picking up hits for Niagara Falls were: Zack Whalen (double); Bateman, Aidan Pierotti, Jackson Mackasey and Nico Valvo (singles). at Seattle Mariners, joined in progress, NET.
