Library play lab opens in October

The St.Catharines library will open its play lab for three Saturday mornings next month. Designed for children six and younger and with a caregiver, the program will run from Oct. 15 to 29 from 9:30 to 10 a.m. It is a drop-in program at the Central branch in the Story Hour Room. The cost per child is one dollar, with roughly 20 to 25 openings. The hands-on program is designed to encourage creativity at a number of activity stations, and may run longer if the community response is positive.
