Brock, Niagara students get boost
Brock University and Niagara College will receive more funding to allow their business initiatives to continue. The On-Campus Entrepreneurship Activities was approved to have its funding renewed under the Youth Jobs Strategy initiative. The program allows students from both Brock and Niagara to receiving funding and support in launching a business. The Niagara Young Entrepreneur Kick-Off Weekend has also been planned for Nov. 4 to 6, and will have youths ages 18 to 29 divide into teams and pitch a business idea, alongside a keynote speaker and mentorship opportunities.
