Theron not stirred by Bond rumours
Actress denies suggestion she take on 007 role
Charlize Theron has assured James Bond devotees she has no interest in becoming the first female 007 after pal Chris Hemsworth insisted she’d be perfect for the role.
Thor star Hemsworth, who teamed up with Theron in Snow White & the Huntsman and The Huntsman: Winter’s War, recently told W magazine the actress would be his first pick as Daniel Craig’s successor, if Bond producers decided to switch the superspy’s gender.
He told the publication, “She scares the hell out of me and I think she can beat me up and most villains out there.
“She embodies every sort of ounce of strength and nobility and dignity and integrity that that character should have. She’s smart as hell. She’s physically able ... Watching her in those fight scenes (in The Huntsman films) ... in high heels ... and an eight-foot-long gown was even more impressive.”

comments but told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of her new movie, Atomic Blonde, in Berlin, Germany on Monday she’s not interested in Bond.
“Chris, so you got that cheque I sent you?” Theron joked. “Thanks, dude. I got your back ... That’s so insanely generous and nice. I don’t even know what to do with that. That’s really sweet.”
Theron plays a hardcore secret agent, called Lorraine Broughton, in her new film, and admits she’d prefer to explore that character again, rather than pick up after Craig.
“I love this character,” she said. “Daniel, you got the job (as Bond). I am not going to take that job away from you.” WENN
