21 Thunder

This new drama premiering Monday probes the goings-on — on and off the field — at an under-21 pro soccer team based in Montreal. A story of love, crime, race, sex and athletic glory, at its core the series is about how a group of players and coaches unite. Stephanie Bennett and Ryan Pierce portray coaches, while RJ Fetherston­haugh, Emmanuel Kabongo and Andres Joseph star as team members. (CBC)

The fourth and final season of the Canadian Screen Award-winning police drama debuts with an episode titled Swimming. Nick (Adrian Holmes) and Ben (Jared Keeso) decide to take down Elise (Krista Bridges.) Also, Nick arrives first to a scene with several casualties, and Ben and Audrey (Laurence Leboeuf ) are implicated in an accident. (CTV)

Season 19 of the recovery-focused docu-series premières. Katherine C. was a bright college student with dreams of becoming a journalist, but was abducted and brutally assaulted. In the aftermath, she became dependent on a dangerous mix of drugs to mask the trauma. Immediatel­y following is a new special titled Dope Man. It’s a chilling yet hopeful look at the unexpected face of addiction through the eyes of Tim Ryan, an ex-con and recovering heroin addict. The special follows Ryan, who battles demons of his own yet is on a mission to help others overcome their addiction in an unconventi­onal and inspiring way. (A&E)

American Ninja Warrior

It’s a new episode featuring the finals in San Antonio, Texas. Competitor­s will face the Salmon Ladder, Hourglass Drop, Elevator Climb and new obstacle Spinball Wizard. Veteran ninjas Kacy Catanzaro, Daniel Gil and Brent Steffensen return. (CTV/NBC)

It’s a new instalment of the comic book-based series co-developed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Tulip (Ruth Negga) confronts her near-death experience, while Denis (Ronald Guttman) asks Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) for a favour and Jesse (Dominic Cooper) questions the price of saving Cassidy and Tulip. Line of Duty

Season 4 of this British police procedural continues with a new episode. A dismembere­d body is discovered, and worries grow when DCI Roz Huntley (Thandie Newton) fails to report for duty. The AC-12 cranks up its investigat­ion into Operation Trapdoor, concerned that Michael Farmer (Scott Reid) will go to jail for crimes he didn’t commit. (Super Channel)

Midnight, Texas

The second episode of this new supernatur­al drama airs. In Bad Moon Rising, psychic Manfred (François Arnaud) tries to help a new neighbour clear his name by communicat­ing with the murdered victim. Manfred’s neighbours help rid his home of the spirits haunting it, and Lem (Peter Mensah) and Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) set out to stop a deadly predator before it kills again.
