Regional council a circus act

-

It is a shame that the people of Niagara have to put up with the circus called Niagara Region. It could use a name change, maybe Hazzard County North.

St. Catharines Coun. Andy Petrowski has said he has met the requirements of sensitivity training and the first return email to a reporter is exactly the opposite of the socalled training. Reporter Grant LaFleche, take no heed of the comments and keep reporting the local political scene.

Petrowski keeps referring to Christian ways so after speaking so many times in a narrow and name calling venue against anyone who does not agree with him, I cannot see the Christian values he so often speaks of. He filed papers and a legal challenge and then billed the taxpayer for the trip to Welland. Most working people who live Niagara have to travel to different locations for their employers do not get the luxury of mileage paid. I lived in St. Catharines and had to report to work at a location in Port Colborne, no mileage for me.

We need an audit of regional council and recall legislation put in place real soon, for the betterment of the people of Niagara. How about showing the certification of the trained person who said Petrowski should be allowed back on council or is this just his word?

As Queenston was the founding location for responsible government in Canada almost 200 years ago, I can only ask what happened.
