Identity of deceased man released by police

An injured man who was discovered in St. Catharines on Queenston Street by a passer-by and later died in hospital has been identified by police as 60-year-old Glenn Joseph.

A post mortem was conducted but the results will not be released, Niagara Regional Police said in a news release.

Police were called to Queenston Street between Calvin and Church streets at about 1:10 a.m. on Friday.

The death is being treated as suspicious by detectives.

An investigation is ongoing.
