Man dies in Lincoln crash along QEW
A Niagara man is dead after a crash on the QEW at the Vineland scales Wednesday night.
The driver’s black Acura left the Toronto-bound QEW lanes and veered into the scale area where it struck a parked tractor-trailer, the OPP report. The crash occurred at about 8:40 p.m.
“When our officers arrived, a male was found deceased in the vehicle,” OPP Const. Robert Knight said.
The driver was deceased when the OPP arrived on the scene, Knight said.
“No one else was injured.
“It wasn’t suspicious. We won’t be releasing any more information about the driver at this point.”
