Letterkenney Live coming to Meridian Centre
The Letterkenney gang is headed for Meridian Centre.
Stars of the Canadian sitcom will perform original sketches when they bring Letterkenney Live, The Encore! to the St. Catharines venue Dec. 5. The 90-minute show will feature cast regulars Jared Keeso, Nathan Dales, K. Trevor Wilson and Mark Forward.
Tickets range from $59.50 to $99.50, and go on sale noon Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets and noon Monday, July 16, at the Meridian Centre box office.
The show, which recently released its six-episode fifth season on CraveTV, takes place in a fictional rural Canadian town where two siblings (Keeso and Michelle Mylett) run a small farm and produce stand. Other characters include members of
the local hockey team, drug addicts and the town’s minister.
Based on a web series by Keeso and co-creator Jacob Tierney (who plays Pastor Glen), the series is filmed in Sudbury, Ont.
The series has won Canadian Screen Awards for best comedy series, best writing in a comedy program or series, and best direction in a comedy program or series.
Letterkenney Live! toured 26 cities earlier this year.
St. Catharines is part of encore tour dates in December.
Other stops as part of that tour will include shows in Orillia Dec. 1, Brantford Dec. 3 and Mississauga Dec. 6.
